COUNTDOWN TO SPOOKYDAY

Halloween has been one of my favourite holidays for many years now.  Due to severe attacks of Conjunctivitis, I've had to "cry off" marking the occasion because I couldn't see well enough to draw anything.  This year (just in case I have another bad attack) I've produced something early.

Hope my watchers appreciate this un-dead queen of the Nile.

I didn't want to create another entry as I want to continue promoting my Halloween image, but I also wanted to ask a question.

"Why is there so much anime stuff in the daily deviantions?"  I thought this was supposed to represent the best of the best, but most of the time it is so limited in the diversity of the images selected that it convinces me it is being selected by the same group of self congratulating individuals who are very narrow in their vision of what constitutes art. 

While I love anime as an art form, I'd just like to see more diversity there.

If anyone knows how you go about providing feedback to those involved in deciding what gets on there about stuff like this, let me know as it bugs me that a lot of fantastic art is being ignored in preference for one limited genre, which to be fair is dominated by traced and vectored cheating.
