Long time no comment eh?! Well technically I haven't been away, just not using my DeviantArt account much in 2014. But I thought it was about time to make a bit of a comeback. I'm hoping to have time to put together my annual Halloween themed sketch before the end of October (check out some of my previous editions here).

Taking time out
It has been awhile since I felt that the community here on Deviantart was filled with like minded people. In fact, the last year has proved to me conclusively that I'm growing away from the community aspect.
So I'm taking a break from posting comments, of any kind, for the foreseeable future.
depending on my work and personal circumstances I may also stop posting any images or actively participating in my groups, only time will tell.
I've come to realise I spend too much time on the net "Waiting" for comment, and not enough time actually doing anything. It is time for a change.

Hi everyone, yes another month and another dry spell. Though not in fact completely idle it has been an art free zone in my home for the last month, in fact for most of this year.
I have however been creative in other ways, I'm now running a couple of conversation groups for people learning English. I've also been in the kitchen making Yorkshire Parkin, a ginger cake that is a tradition around Bonfire night in the UK. Google it, you will not be disappointed.
My plans for the rest of the year were to create a Christmas themed image to add to my gallery, however work has just gone crazy recently and I've just not had time. If inspiration
